My name is Jim Weber and I've been teaching C&W Dance for 25+ years. I began dancing in the mid-90s and, shortly thereafter began assisting with classes at Cowboys Arlington. In addition to being the Dance Instructor at Cowboys Red River in Dallas from 1997–2000, I also began teaching private and group lessons at local dance studios. In 2002, I began working with Don Chesshir, a noted C&W dance instructor in the DFW metro area who was known for teaching large group classes and large group seminars. Together we sponsored a very popular monthly dance seminar at Gilleys Dallas. Over the last 20 years I have not only taught many large group classes, corporate events, and performed/taught at wedding receptions, but also taught Country Western dance lessons at many area dance halls, including Cowboys Red River in Dallas, Gilleys in Dallas, Denim & Diamonds in Dallas, Toby Keith’s “I Love This Bar and Grill” in Dallas, Midnight Rodeo in Dallas, Electric Cowboy in Lewisville, and currently at Southern Junction Texas in Irving. Also currently, at Studio 22 Dallas, I teach private lessons, coach competition students, perform with students in studio showcases, and teach C&W group classes.
